NM WIC Staff Spotlight

The Edgewood WIC team showed incredible dedication in restoring and maintaining services following severe flooding, impacting their building from mid-March to mid-April. During the initial phase, staff operated off-site for eight days, utilizing space at the local Smith’s grocery store. Once granted limited access to their building, they adapted by setting up in the staff breakroom, offering curbside services. Despite these challenges, benefit issuance remained uninterrupted, and their caseload grew by 34 clients! A huge thank you to Kristal Morfin and Camille Garcia for their hard work and unwavering dedication to ensuring services continued smoothly! Their commitment truly made a difference.
